Club Competition
Submitting Color and Monochrome Print entries (Maximum of 2 entries per each competition may be submitted on the night of the Monthly Club Meeting) - refer above link for more details.
IMPORTANT - Members should complete an Identifying Label for the back of each print submitted. The label can be printed after downloading the file here.
Colour Prints
The mount can be up to a maximum of 12” x 16” (305mm x 406mm) in the standard rectangular format. The print is generally 8” x 12” but may be any shape or size, provided its measurements are less that the mount in each direction.
Monochrome Prints
A photograph executed in black and white or in varying tones of only one colour.
The mount can be up to a maximum of 12” x 16” (305mm x 406mm) in the standard rectangular format. The print is generally 8” x 12” but may be any shape or size, provided its measurements are less that the mount in each direction.
Submitting Digital Photo entries
Following the Intra Club Meeting at the May 2014 Northern Zone Convention, it was agreed that the dimensions of digital images should be no larger than
1920 pixels in width and 1200 pixels in height, Each file must not exceed 2mb in size and must be in JPG/JPEG format.
Remember, if you submit too small a file size, your image may appear either too small and/or lack detail.
Include your name and title of the digital photo in the jpg file name. Eg. G.Smith-Dolphin Surfing.jpg
Email your digital entries (maximum of 2) to Nick at: [email protected] and include the words 'CAMERA CLUB' in your Email subject line.
Entries must be submitted no later than midnight Friday prior to the Camera Club Meeting.
Only currently financial members of the Camera Club will be eligible to enter.
We recommend sRGB colour profile.
Image Resizing
Programs such as Photoshop and ACDSee are good for resizing. There are free programs that resize as well, including Faststone Photo resizer.
Note, as with any download, always virus check prior to using the program.
